Mon, March 30, 2009 - 5:28 AMJust brewed a Russian Imperial Stout last night. Pitched the yeast starter (1.5 quarts stepped twice) at about 12:30 AM. At 6 AM it's bubbling away!

Standing at 5 gallons now but will top off after the mad fermentation subsides and rack in about 2-3 weeks.

Mon, March 30, 2009 - 4:47 PMI was just in England and Belgium with my lover last week. Went to England to see friends (and drink beer), went to Belgium to drink beer. Spent two nights in a row at Kulminator in Antwerp. Yes, I had the Westvleteren 12. Awesome trip; gonna write up a report.
