Granted, I'm a long term ABA fan, but... I just bought 4 bottles of the 12th anniversary, and it was a lot richer than I'd expected. I'd call it a bitter stout first, an oatmeal brew second, and a chocolate beer a distant last - good stuff, but I'll admit it took me a full 30min to drink the entire bottle. It was damn near a full meal, and I gotta say - If that's your idea of a fou fou beer... I'll turn in my beer snob cred right now! :)
On a side note... I've had good experiences ordering some hard to find stuff through beeronthewall.com (I've used 'em off and on since 2001)

I understand that hop price/availability had something to do with the recipe decision. I look forward to the time when hops will be cheap and plentiful again. -

Stone is pretty cheap ($4.99 or $5.99) in the Albany/Saratoga area, so I drink a lot of it.
